Pre-Marital Sex: Rebuilding the Foundation of Your Marriage
Hello dear Friend, Today is the last part of the premarital sex series and I am excited to let you know that through this post, God will heal your marriage if your spouse and you engaged in premarital sex.
Now, let’s proceed to rebuilding your marital foundation.
First, you need to ask God to forgive you specifically for that and then renounce its consequences.
The Bible says: “if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us” (1John 1.9-19). The bottom line is to acknowledge that you sinned by laying a wrong foundation and genuinely repent. 2 Corinthians 7.9, 10 says: “Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner….For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation…”
Pray the following prayers and mean it from the depth of your heart:
“Lord Jesus I come to You today and I acknowledge that I laid a wrong foundation for my marriage; I am sorry. I ask for forgiveness for the premarital sexual relationship I had. I have no excuse, I acted wrongly and I have come to say I am sorry Lord. Forgive me and come into my heart now. Wash away the sin and wash away the guilt that has followed me since then. Lord, I ask that you wipe away the consequences of this particular sin and reproach from my life today in Jesus name.
I also ask for forgiveness on behalf of my spouse. I receive your intervention right now and I ask for wisdom to rebuild the foundation that has just been redeemed in Jesus name.
Thank you for the restoration of my marital wine and the restoration of our mutual love, respect and trust. Thank you for dissolving extra marital affairs from our lives and for restoring our dignity in Jesus name.”
Congratulations! I know God has heard and answered your prayer in Jesus name. Place one hand on your forehead as I pray for you.
“Lord I thank you for this dear one that just prayed this prayer; I stand now on the authority of your Word and declare restoration in Jesus name. I declare that as You have heard and answered, that from today, the consequences of wrong marital foundations are hereby neutralized in Jesus name!”
